Kahlua and River's puppies have arrived!
During the first few days, we keep handling to a minimum to give Kahlua time to bond with her babies. The only interaction we have is taking their daily weights to ensure everyone is healthy and gaining properly.

May 27th
We’ve started the puppies on ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction) training!
These exercises are done daily from day 3 through day 16 to help support their development and build a solid foundation for confident, well-rounded temperaments.

June 5th
The puppies are doing great and growing beautifully! They're starting to move around a bit more each day. It’s such a sweet stage to watch!
We’re also excited to share that four of the puppies have opened their eyes. The rest should be opening theirs very soon.

June 9th
​
All of the puppies have their eyes open now! They're beginning to explore and walk around their whelping box. Today is the last day of their Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) exercises. Tomorrow, we’ll start their 10-step handling exercises!

June 14th
​
The puppies are 3 weeks old today! Their ears are open, they're starting to walk around more, and their little personalities are really starting to show. We're also beginning sound desensitizing and kicking off potty training today!

June 20th

The puppies will be 4 weeks old tomorrow, time is flying by so fast! They are doing great with their potty training! We're currently working on sound desensitization, and introducing them to common household noises (vacuum, blender, thunderstorms, fireworks). They've also started on their puppy mush and are doing great! Their litter theme is "Terms of Endearment". I'll will post new pictures with their names soon.

June 28th

The puppies are 5 weeks old today! We're continuing with their 10-step handling exercises and sound desensitizing. They play in our indoor play area multiple times a day. We add and switch out toys daily to help build their confidence. They also had their first day playing outside today and did very well! We have taken them on multiple car rides as well. Exposing puppies to the motion of a car between 4 and 6 weeks of age can help reduce the risk of car sickness later on.

July 3rd

It’s hard to believe the puppies will be 6 weeks old this Saturday! Just two more weeks until they’re ready to go to their new homes.
The puppies have been eating TLC Puppy Food, and we highly recommend keeping your puppy on this food for at least the first 6 months (preferably longer) to help avoid any gastrointestinal upset. I’ll be reaching out soon to schedule appointments for puppy selection. Appointments will be booked in the order that deposits were received. If you’re unable to attend your scheduled time, we’ll provide videos and share the results of their temperament tests.
