Puppy Health Guarantee & Purchase Agreement

​

We warrant that this puppy is the result of the breeding between 

Jewel and River, born on December 20, 2025. 

We guarantee that at the time the puppy leaves our care, he/she is in good health, has been examined by our licensed veterinarian, has received age-appropriate vaccinations, and has been routinely dewormed.

All puppies have been:

  • Examined by a licensed veterinarian

  • Microchipped (microchip will remain in the Breeder’s name until proof of spay/neuter is received)

  • Dewormed

  • Given first vaccination

  • Provided with a current Health Certificate at the time of placement

 

Genetic Health Guarantee

We guarantee that if the puppy develops a life-debilitating genetic disease listed below within the first two (2) years of life, the Breeder will either:

  • Replace the puppy with one from the next available litter of equal value, or

  • Refund 50% of the purchase price

All diagnostic testing, evaluations, and documentation are the sole responsibility and expense of the Buyer.

A licensed veterinarian must provide written medical proof (e.g., x-rays, blood tests) confirming the genetic condition. The veterinarian must also certify that:

  • The dog has not suffered trauma or injury

  • The dog is otherwise in good health

  • The dog is maintained at an appropriate weight for its body size

This guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original Buyer.

The puppy must be spayed or neutered between 8–15 months of age. Written proof must be provided to the Breeder by 16 months of age.

Failure to comply:

  • Voids the health guarantee

  • Results in $1,500 in liquidated damages, agreed upon as reasonable compensation for breach of contract and not a penalty

 

The puppy may not be sold, rehomed, transferred, gifted, or placed in another home prior to proof of spay/neuter, unless written permission is obtained from the Breeder.

Temporary placement, surrender to a shelter or rescue, or transfer to any third party shall be considered a transfer of ownership.

If the Buyer is unable to keep the puppy, the Breeder must be notified immediately.
The puppy may be returned to the Breeder at any time, for any reason. No refund will be given.

Buyer agrees to provide a fenced yard or dog run; the puppy may not be tied or chained as confinement

  • Buyer acknowledges that adult size is an estimate

  • Buyer agrees not to over-exercise the puppy for the first 18 months

  • All sales are final except for approved health guarantee claims

  • Extended to 3 years if the puppy is fed TLC Puppy/Dog Food purchased through the Breeder’s link for the full first 2 year

Our Guarantee Does Not Cover

  • Allergies

  • Ear infections

  • Parasites or worms

  • Underbite, overbite, or malocclusions

  • Small umbilical hernias

  • Cancer, diabetes, autoimmune diseases

  • Heart murmurs grade 1 or 2

  • Environmental hip or elbow dysplasia (obesity, over-exercise)

  • Vaccine-preventable illnesses

  • Adverse reactions to vaccines or preventative medications

  • Injury or death caused by accident after placement

 

The Breeder does not guarantee temperament, as temperament can be influenced by environment, training, socialization, and handling after placement.

Colour and adult size are not guaranteed.

Microchip & Insurance

Each puppy goes home with 30 days of complimentary Trupanion insurance, which must be activated within 24 hours of bringing the puppy home, if the Buyer chooses to participate.
