Application & Deposits

If you're interested in adopting a puppy, and would like to be placed on one of our waitlist, please fill out our Puppy Application.
Once your application is approved, we require a $200 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot on the waitlist of your choice. Deposits can be made by e-transfer to doodlebear@live.ca
We accept a limited amount of deposits per waitlist, and will reopen the list once the puppies are born. If there isn't a sufficient amount of interest in a litter, we may choose to postpone or skip it.

​Reserve
​
Once the puppies arrive, I will contact families to share the number of puppies in the litter, their colours, and their genders. You will then receive a $300 e-transfer request for the remaining balance of the deposit.

*Please note, our deposit is $500, if the puppies are already born.
Your deposit goes towards the price of your puppy.
If we do not hear back from you or we do not receive the second part of your deposit within 48 hours, your name will move to the next available litter with an opening.

After we receive the second half of your deposit, we will provide you with the password to our Puppy Portal and a link to our puppy album. All puppy information, updates, pictures, and videos will be posted there for you to view.

​Puppy Selection
​
At 7 weeks, after their temperament evaluation has been completed, families are invited to meet and choose their puppy. Appointments are made in the order that we receive the deposits. If you are unable to make it to your scheduled appointment, we will work with you remotely to guid you through the process.

We book our appointments in 45 minute intervals. Please arrive on time so we do not have any overlapping appointments as we don't want families to feel rushed to end their appointment early.
Families that are not able to be picked up their puppy by the designated pickup date, will be charged $30/day.

* If we cannot provide you with a puppy within one year, we will refund your deposit. However, if you pass on a puppy/litter that meets your specifications, your deposit will no longer be refundable, but is transferable to other litters for up to 3 years.
